AJ Byers, President – JEDTech Group
Former Advisor to SalesChoice
JEDTech Group assists emerging technology organizations with accelerating growth and scaling businesses operationally. Prior to this role, AJ was President of Rogers Data Centres, where he assembled one of Canada largest Data Centre services organizations, and President of BlackIron Data, Canada’s most certified data centre company.
As an executive at Primus, AJ assisted them in transitioning their business from a legacy telecom provider to a full solution technology services organization.
Accomplishments while running Magma Communications include one of Canada’s first Internet Data Centres and the first to offer DSL services to the business market.
AJ currently sits as a board advisor and coach for 3 technology start-ups He holds a Masters of Technology and Undergraduate degree in Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
Julien Sauvage, Director of Product Marketing – Salesforce
Julien’s responsibilities include developing and executing the product go-to-market strategies, including all outbound product communication, market segmentation, sales enablement tools, analyst relations, competitive analysis and all content related to Salesforce Analytics Cloud.
Prior to joining Salesforce Julien was Director of Product Marketing at Talend, where he was responsible for Talend’s Big Data and Cloud offerings. Before that, he was Director of Product Marketing for the Advanced Analytics portfolio at SAP, and responsible for Product Marketing globally at KXEN, a Predictive Analytics start-up company, before its acquisition by SAP in October 2013.
Julien’s technical background includes work as presales engineer at KXEN for the EMEA region and as a data scientist at various French companies including Airbus, Peugeot and Renault Formula 1.
With over 15 years’ experience in predictive analytics and data science, he has become a specialist in turning data into value! Julien has worked on proof of concepts, pilots and go-live deployments at 50+ customers across a spectrum of industries, including communications, finance, retail and e-Business, where he has built business solutions for CRM, fraud detection, product recommendations and operational optimization.
Jeff Thompson, CTO and SVP Engineering – LiveOps

Jeff brings over 20 years of expertise in developing innovative solutions for the global Fortune 500 to improve customer service and engagement. Jeff currently is the CTO and SVP Engineering at LiveOps, a pioneer in cloud contact center solutions. Dave is a graduate of Ryerson University with a business major, and makes his home in Toronto, Ontario, Canada with his 4 children, and is an avid golfer and musician.

Partha has over 15 years of professional experience championing advanced analytic solutions across fortune 100 firms leveraging data and insights to make better smarter decisions. Partha has held leadership roles for global firms such as EY, TD Bank, JPMC, Thomson Reuters, Accenture, FICO. Partha has experience in both B2C and B2B organizations. He is a strong advocate of using data and analytics as a competitive advantage, and has done this for last 15+yrs and impacted several $MM initiatives.
Partha has deep experience leveraging predictive and prescriptive analytics in the area of marketing, sales, customer and fraud risk domains. He believe data and analytics is key to any strategy. During this role at Thomson Reuters, he led a team that championed several ‘first-time’ analytics strategies, very similar to Saleschoice product offering.
Partha holds a Master’s degree in Applied Statistics and Computer Science from Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai, India.
During his free time, he likes to spend time with family, long walks, plays tennis and volunteers at mentor-ship programs helping newcomers to Canada.
Abhinav Mahajan, Marketing Consultant
Abhinav is a Marketing communication specialist whose focus at SalesChoice Inc. is on ideating, developing and implementing strategic brand communication.
He brings over 6 years of experience to SalesChoice. He has demonstrated capacity to develop and implement strategic marketing communications for brands in a diverse range of industries in all his past professional endeavors.
Abhinav has previously worked on the agency side as well as the client side on brands in across various industries like: CPG, Media & Publishing and Banking.
He holds an Advanced Diploma in Advertising and Marketing and a Masters In Marketing Communication Management from The National Institute of Advertising.
He has a passion for building Brands but also enjoys traveling, sports and cooking.
Sai Krishna, Account Manager – Sales & Strategy
Sai is responsible for lead generation and new business development. His responsibilities include managing the sales pipeline for mid to large companies, sales enablement and driving sales performance.
He has more than seven years of cross-cultural experience in global firms like: Lloyds Banking Group, Wipro Consulting, HCL; having gathered fair understanding in increasing sales revenues, developing profitable & productive business relationships and building an extensive client base.
Sai has a Masters in International Business and holds an MBA, specializing in Marketing.
He has a passion for sports like cricket, golf and squash. In his spare time, he enjoys offroading, hiking and likes escaping to the mountains.
Bianca Monteiro, Marketing Analyst
Bianca brings with her an expertise in Sales and Customer Service, Product and Brand Management.
She holds a Post-Graduate in Strategic Marketing and International Business from George Brown College. She also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from the University of Mumbai.
She also has experience from Mullen Lowe Lintas, a subsidiary of the InterPublic Group, New York where she worked on planning and developing digital campaigns for leading brands.
From a community perspective, Bianca was also an active member of AIESEC, a global youth-run organization. Her passion includes camping and escaping into nature for leisure.
Joel Lat, Full Stack Engineer
Joel is a full stack engineer who focuses on front end and back end products
His past experiences include development on internal web applications as well project management related to increasing efficiency in the financial sector.
Working alongside the engineer team Joel looks to develop new ways for the customer to interact with their data. He hoped to bring a new point of view for how we utilize technology in our day to day lives.
Joel is obtaining a bachelor in computer engineering at McGill Univesity, Montreal, Canada
Joel enjoys playing video games online but you’ll be just as likely to catch him out on the field playing sports or out with friends. He loves travelling and seeing how different cultures change the way we use technology.
Chuck Payne, Sales and Marketing Associate
Chuck is a Sales and Marketing Associate with SalesChoice, working closely with the Director of Sales Operations and the Director of Marketing and Strategic Business Development to increase company revenues and grow the corporate brand.
He has diverse industry experience, from a start-up pharmaceutical company to a major media broadcaster, cultivating a variety of professional skills along the way. His expertise is in communications and relationship management.
Chuck graduated Dalhousie University with a BA of English and recently completed a postgraduate certificate in Public Relations from Humber College. He also has TESL certificate from St. Mary’s University.
He is passionate about all things pop-culture and is an aspiring photographer in his spare time. Both of these interests could be on the verge of being revolutionized by the future applications of AI.
Dr. Pramod Gupta, Senior Data Scientist
Dr. Pramod Gupta is a Senior Data Scientist with SalesChoice, with more than 15 years of experience as a researcher and academician in various organizations including work with: NASA, GE, VISA, as well as in a number of academic positions involving Big Data strategies and solutions.
His research areas include: neural networks, machine learning algorithms, modeling and robotics, data modeling, and data mining. He has more than 40 publications on these subjects in various conferences and journals and has won several awards for his research and academic achievements.
Pramod obtained his Ph.D. from McMaster University in Canada and is also currently teaching part-time at UCSC Silicon Valley Extention. He is passionate about working with new technologies solving innovative data science and machine learning problems, particularly in CRM.

Bharat Tahiliani, Digital Marketing Specialist
Bharat is a Digital Marketing Specialist whose focus at SalesChoice Inc. is on design, website architecture, email marketing, video strategy and editing, and thinking out of the box regarding high-impact marketing campaign ventures.
He brings over 4 years of experience to the company. He has demonstrated the capacity to structure, redesign, ideate and execute successful marketing campaigns.
He holds an undergrad in Information and Communication Studies from The University of New Brunswick, Saint John, a diploma in Film Production from Toronto Film School, and is currently pursuing his Digital Marketing Management certification from the University of Toronto.
He has passion for video editing, iPhone Photography, reading, and loves playing soccer and ping-pong.
Michael Weinberg, CTO & Chief Architect
Michael brings over 13 years of professional software R&D experience with emphasis on Cloud and BigData Technologies. Michael is also founder of Radscale Systems Inc.,a certified Amazon Cloud Consulting Partner specializing in Cloud and Big Data applications.
Michael is also a co-founder of Kenlo Group, a web and mobile applications developer. His contributions at NDS Group (a worldwide leader in digital pay-TV solutions acquired by Cisco) were recognized by a 2005 CEO Award for Outstanding Technical Contribution.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Computer Science from The Hebrew University in Israel and has conducted research and published scientific papers in the area of distributed artificial intelligence.
Michael also volunteers in community computer classes helping kids and senior citizens acquire computer and Internet skills. Michael’s passions include: photography, snowboarding & camping ~ and of course, innovating with Big Data and SaaS.
Sohil Dadwani, Director of Sales Operations
Sohil’s responsibilities at SalesChoice include: leading the indirect Lead Generation Sales Team, providing Sales Pipeline & Account Management support and planning marketing events & communications. He leads a team of Sales resources.
Sohil brings six years of diverse experiences to SalesChoice. He has demonstrated excellence and strong business acumen in his professional endeavors at Mahindra and as a Management Consultant.
He has an MBA from Queen’s School of Business, where he specialized in Marketing. He also holds a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from Devi Ahilya University, Indore, India.
Sohil is very tech savvy and passionate about bringing positive disruption in the way of doing business from the use of innovative technology approaches.
Pooja Chitnis, Marketing Manager
A Google Certified Digital Marketing Specialist, Pooja, assists the firm in its marketing and public relations initiatives. She helps SalesChoice develop and implement marketing & branding strategies that fit the company’s needs; be it high-level communication or grassroot community relations.
Having led a Marketing and Public Relations for over 2 years, she has managed to help brands from various industries including hospitality, real estate, fashion and now technology connect with their target market. Pooja brings a diverse set of skills to the table ranging from community engagement, media relations, crisis management, online promotions, content management to social media marketing.
Pooja holds an MBA and Post Graduation from ICFAI University and IBS, India, in Marketing and Operations. She also holds a graduation in International Business Management from Seneca College of Applied Arts & Technology, Toronto. Apart from these, Pooja’s love for continuous learning has helped in her recent successful completion of diplomas in Social Media Marketing & Viral Marketing.
Her personal interests include traveling, reviewing restaurants and destinations, reading about philosophy and diverse cultures. Pooja wishes to one day create a marketing approach that means more than just creating awareness for a brand but also to touch the hearts of its customers.
Zoltan Lorantffy – Chief Growth Officer
Zoltan is Chief Growth Officer for SalesChoice and manages all revenue generation activities and sales growth strategies across the organization.
Zoltan has more than 15 years of experience in sales and marketing leadership positions, within services and consulting firms. He founded Intaflect, a growth services platform, from a passion of connecting professionals to solve business challenges collaboratively and help companies grow. Zoltan lived in Budapest Hungary where he built and led a project management training and strategy office for a global company, servicing Central and Eastern Europe. In Toronto, he formed and managed a global business development, marketing and corporate training practice for a pricing consulting firm and most recently he managed operations and growth in Canada and EMEA for a global sales & marketing firm.
Zoltan holds an HBA in Political Science from York University.
Zoltan enjoys a good book and is always keen on attending informative talks and panels. He has a passion for traveling especially to wine destinations. In his free time, Zoltan enjoys playing sports, attending cultural events, spending time with family, friends and playing the piano.
Tom Kane, VP Global Sales at Virtek Vision International
Tom currently resides in Waterloo Ontario where he heads up a global team of sales professionals that bring solutions to the advanced manufacturing industry using lasers, in a form of augmented reality. Throughout his career, he has held various senior positions in sales, manufacturing and operations with high growth companies such as: Igloo Software, D2L, OpenText and others. Tom also owned his own sales and distribution business to satisfy his entrepreneurial spirit. He has crossed over many industries including enterprise software, aerospace and medical devices. His years of experience implementing business systems in both SME and large organizations has given him a unique insight in realization of value for software investments. Tom also gives his time to coaching and mentoring both startups and new managers through Communitech in Waterloo Ontario.

Dr. Sonja Jones, Director of Global AI and Data Sciences
Dr. Sonja Jones is multi-talented and has over 20 years of experience in sales, business and technology. She has advanced many companies towards their mission and goals via her consultative sales experience and has been essential in helping companies meet their changing business requirements with the growth and evolution of technology solutions.
Dr. Jones recently completed her doctorate at Argosy University in Business focused on entrepreneurship and her dissertation was published with her ground breaking studies around Women in Information Technology Leadership. She also has been published in four different books which include “How to Break a Glass Ceiling without a Hammer”, “How to Survive When Your Ship is Sinking”, “Successful Women in Business” and “Corporate Queens, What Business School Won’t Teach You” and she is currently working on writing her own book. Dr. Jones also has an MBA in entrepreneurship from the University of St. Thomas and two Bachelor degrees in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Minnesota.
Being a huge advocate for women in technology, she is the co-founder of the first technical sorority in America, “Alpha Sigma Kappa – Women in Technical Studies” which has touched over 1,000 women’s lives. She also recently created her own foundation, called “Nonstop 4 the Top”. Her organization is dedicated to helping women succeed in, business and technology. Dr. Jones also mentors women through Everwise and her college alumni programs. In addition, Dr. Jones was crowned Mrs. Corporate America and during her reign she was a speaker and advocate for her platform through many forms of media that included television, internet, books, magazine and many internet publications.
In her spare time, Sonja loves to act and loves sports, especially football.
